Untitled Durational Installation Trio

What can I say, I'm bad at titles. This trio was performed over 8 hours and, to be honest, it was slightly crazy. Rehearsal notes and more info below.

With this piece I worked with three performers and a DJ. I knew this was going to be performed at an event I was curating but I initially set out to make a more traditional theatre work. The show ended up being an interactive performance, with the performers mingling with the audience throughout the night and performing fragments of the work in the space for individuals and small groups. The initial idea for the work was shame or things that we don't want to admit.

Starting Questions

These are some questions I brought into the space with me as a way to kickstart the process. Obviously exploring 'things you don't want to admit' is pretty hard as you have to admit them for them to be used in the work. I got around this by asking everyone to type up their answers in the same font/size, print them out and cut them up so that they could all be mixed together. This was a great way to anonymise the process and it also meant the performers were not performing or working with their own 'deepest darkest' thoughts.
